Plenty of variety on tonight’s card and for once not full of Class 6 handicaps – hopefully a winner or two amongst these, good luck to those having an interest.

16.25 Class 5 Novice Stakes 2 Yr Old 7f
Plenty of unraced entries here with some of the top yards bringing some decent looking types, M Stoute’s Qaasid looks of interest, stable going well at the moment and has a good record here (as does jockey J Crowley). They combine well with a 32% SR and almost a level stakes profit. However the selection is Guru from the J Gosden yard who is 26% here, stable do well with 2nd run starters operating a 31% SR. Interesting jockey booking with A Kirby. Expect cramped odds for this one, any thing above evens a bonus.
Selection Guru (Evens) Next Best Qaasid (4/1)
17.00 Class 4 Fillies Handicap 3 Yr Old + 7f
Top weight Deliah Park goes well round here 3 wins and 2 places but was a disappointment last time after winning the time before over CD,up 4 lbs for that win now rated 85 however has never won off this high a mark. Hot Touch has been highly tried ran in a class 3 event last time and has a reasonable draw and pace profile. However the selection is Declaring Love who runs in a handicap for the first time (stable record 28%), three useful runs all at Newmarket where the form appears to be working out from all three races.
Selection Declaring Love (7/4) Next Best: Hot Touch (6/1)
17.30 Class 4 Handicap 2 Yr Old 6f
Just the 4 runners here, three first time in a nursery with Monza City running in her third. Was ¾ length third last time and caught the eye when running on from a wide draw at Leicester last time. Cox and Botti both do well in these type of events , preference for the NB spot is Botti’s Atalsis Bay who appears to have improved on debut (both runs at Windsor).
Selection Monza City (3/1) Next Best Atalis Bay (7/2)
18.00 Class 4 Handicap 3 Yr Old + 6f
Nigel Nott is of interest here, likely pace setter with W Buick aboard and drawn in 3 too. Form looks OK running solely on the AW. Its A Given runs in her second handicap from the R Charlton yard beaten 3 lengths on handicap debut (backed in to Evs Fav) at Windsor but won both previous starts at Chelmsford and over CD on penultimate start.
Selection Nigel Nott (5/1) Next Best Its A Given (9/4)
18.30 Class 5 Nov Fillies Stakes 2 Yr Old 1m
Five go to post and with another likely winner for W Buick on Renaissance Rose for C Appleby who’s only run at Ascot looks of promise recording a decent time too. R Beckett has a good record for 1st time starters (13%) and will make that the next best.
Selection Renaissance Rose (Ev) Next Best Saramenha (4/1)
19.00 Class 4 Handicap 3 Yr Old 1m
Swinley Forest and Maurimo are the two that all look like potential winners, having good course and distance form. Maurimo is a first time handicapper from R Charlton’s team and has won a maiden over CD. Assuming she’s better on the AW this should suit. Swinley Forest is the selection and could be yet another for the in form W Buick. Two runs here have resulted in first and a second although has 7 lbs more than at the last visit.
Selection Swinley Forest (6/1) Next Best Maurimo (8/1)
19.30 Class 5 Nov Stakes 3 Yr Old + 1m
Mutalahef looks of interest here after a decent effort at Lingfield drawn wide but should be able to get to the front, J Crowley knows his way around this track that’s for sure. Endured gets the next best selection disappointed after decent debut at Kempton assuming that he prefers the polytrack this one could go well at a decent enough price.
Selection Mutalahef (6/4) Next Best Endured (8/1)
20.00 Class 5 Nov Stakes 3 Yr Old + 1m
The way Bullfinch won here last time would indicate that he can once again dictate from the front (not quite as well drawn this time). Trainer has a good record here and a profit for Jockey Trainer combo, trainer has good stats for runners coming of a 60+ Day layoff. Also of interest is Long Haired Lover J Fanshawe does well here but surprisingly O Murphy is just 1/13 for J Fanshawe. Mumtaaz r is another that should be considered J Crowley and J Gosden combine for a huge 43% SR showing a profit on win and place bets.
Selection Bullfinch (2/1) Next Best Mumtaaz (5/2)
20.30 Class 5 Handicap 3 Yr Old + 1m 4f
Most of the older horses do not appeal whereas some of the 3 yr olds have been running well. Bottom weight September Power and Machios both won last time at Lingfield. September Power comes from the powerful R Varian stable and has the assistance of S De Souza. A Balding trains the other and uses D Probert. Trainer does well with quick returners.
Selection September Power (4/1) Next Best Machios (5/1)
